Transportation from airport to campus :

For participants who will arrive Izmir by airpot have got two options.

First option is bus number ‘204’ which starts its run in front of the arrivals terminal. Bus line costs 6 liras and its last stop is the Bornova Metro Station. After you get off from the bus there is a ten minute walk to your accommodation (Student Village) and congress hall (Muhittin Erel Lecture Hall). Second option is the railway system (IZBAN and Izmir Metro). The airport’s  suburban rail station (IZBAN) is located in front of the domestic arrivals terminal. For using railways you have to purchase Izmirim Card and fill that card with minimum 7.14 liras to gain access to the line. You have to take Aliaga (North) line and get off at Hilal station or Halkapinar station. After you get off you have to use blockage machine which refunds 4.14 liras to your card. You can find that blockage machines at every stations’ exit. Then you have to take metro heading to Evka-3 direction and Bornova is your final direction. It takes approximately 40 minutes There is a ten minute walk from Bornova Metro Station to your accommodation( Öğrenci Köyü) and congress hall (Muhittin Erel Lecture Hall). Note:  Please note that you have to purchase an Izmirim Card to gain access to the public transport in Izmir. Izmirim Card costs 6 liras and it is avaible at the  airport’s metro station.

Transportation from the bus terminal to campus :

First option is bus line ‘204’.  You have to get on the bus that is heading to Bornova Metro station. This ride takes 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the traffic. Second option is bus line ‘800’. You have to get on the bus heading to Bornova Metro station. This ride takes 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the traffic. There is a ten minute walk from Bornova Metro Station to your accommodation( Öğrenci Köyü) and congress hall (Muhittin Erel Lecture Hall). This ride costs 3 liras. Third option is bus line ‘505’. You have to get on the bus  heading to Bornova Metro Station. This ride takes 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the traffic. Fourth option is the teal coloured  minivans that are called ‘dolmus’. You can use ‘dolmus’s heading to Ege University Hospital.

Transportation from Bornova Metro to Guest House :

You can take the metro to Evka-3 station. After Evka-3 station it takes a 5 minute walk to the Guest House.

Note: If you have an Izmirim Card , you can use it several times and there is no money left in the card you can add liras online from ‘’ESHOT Mobil’’ application.
